Books Rule!

March 19th, 2007  |  Published in T-Shirts  |  8 Comments

John Allison is totally right, books do rule. After only reading no more than a handful the past 2 years or so, I spent the past weekend reading over 3 favorites that I hadn’t visited in a while.

3 books over 2 days might seem like it’s quite a lot to some folks, but I have this history of consuming the things that I really like. Hell, when I first bought Neuromancer at age 11, I must have read it twice over the course of 24 hours. Why? Well, other than the fact that I’m mildly crazy, I just really liked immersing myself in that world. The same thing goes for movies and music. Don’t ask me how many times I’ve watched The Big Lebowski or listened to Love Will Tear Us Apart — but mostly because I’m pretty sure I’ve lost count.

And maybe it’s not good to admit that I have a habit of being mildly obsessive, but I’ve always been fond of disclosing things that I shouldn’t have…
