Preshrunk pal Mack sent along this totally epic video that’s bound for viral glory. That is, if it hasn’t already done so by the time you’re reading this. So if you haven’t seen it, watch it! I swear that it’s worth four minutes of your time.

But since this is a t-shirt blog (where I’m supposed to link up stuff that’s for sale) I’d totally suck if I didn’t point out that they’re selling the actual shirts from the video for $20 to $30 a pop. Or if that’s too steep, they’ve also got really decent replicas for a more modest $18 price tag.

While these aren't exactly t-shirts that you can wear — which is what I try to stick to — they're just too rad to ignore.  Preshrunk pal Scott Beale pointed out these tee inspired tea bags from designer Soon Mo Kang.  And while they may not be the most functional tea bags (since all of them I know of have a tendency to float when immersed in even a minor amount of water) they're still pretty damn clever. Also, they come packaged in their own closet. Which is nothing short of epic as far as I'm concerned. Unfortunately, it looks like they're nothing more than a concept design at the moment. That's a damn shame too. I know I'd buy at least a few boxes if they were for sale somewhere.]]> Hangar Tea

To help promote her new book “The Whuffie Factor” — which I’m actually really looking forward to reading — Tara Hunt has posted a collection of video interviews over at Viddler. How is this of interest to the t-shirt set, you ask? Well, one of said interviews is a nice five minute chat with Jake Nickell and Jeffrey Kalmikoff from Threadless.

In the interview, they offer a pretty quick rundown of how Threadless came to be. And while that might fall under “old news” for some of y’all, I’m sure that at least a few of you might find it interesting. Besides, it makes for pretty compelling filler until I can cut time out of my schedule to post another shirt… ;)
