That's from Conan's last Tonight Show a little more than a week ago, and the sentiment is something that really resonated with me. Apparently it moved enough folks to merit the Threadless submission above, a wallpaper and a Facebook Group. Perhaps it's because I live in California — but I've recently realized that I've kind of got a lot of vegan friends. Like to the point where they ready to overtake the carnivores and omnivores in the numbers. Since they're the awesome sort of vegans that don't fret over me loving bacon and have rants about not being able to locate really good fake cheese tho, I really don't mind so much. Actually, they're some of the raddest people I know. And they've got kick ass food to boot.

Case in point, one of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles is a vegan place by the name of Pure Luck. If you read that Yelp review, you might see why. Faux pulled pork and carnitas. Sweet potato fries. Plantain tacos. One of the best rotations of microbrewed beer on-tap. Just thinking about it is making me hungry.

Anyhow, pretty much everything there is absolutely fucking delicious. In fact, if I could always have one within 10 minutes of me, I'd probably end up going vegan. But until that day comes, I'll settle for being an omnivore.

So to all my peeps who don't do the dairy or carne, this one off tee (made by the wearer, if I understand correctly) is for you. Shine on you crazy diamonds!

Want to share a rad one-off or ultra rare tee with us? We'd love to hear about it!

This week's TOTW was picked for one reason: the level of detail on the shirt. Now, some of you might be saying, "Big deal! Gimme a Wacom and a copy of Illustrator and I could do the same thing..."

Could you really? Probably. A little undo goes a long way.

But this shirt was drawn by hand directly on the t-shirt with a fabric marker by the talented Ashley Anderson. I'll let that sink in for a second. The super-symmetrical design that you're looking at up there was all done directly onto to the t-shirt — and it's flawless.

The direct-to-shirt method means that there's only one of these tees in the whole universe. So if you can rock a men's small and need to have it, it's currently selling for $150 on Etsy.

Steep? For most people, it will be. This is a wearable piece of art as far as I'm concerned tho — and if my fat frame could ever squeeze into it, I'd snatch it up in a second.

Preshrunk pal Cory Doctorow spotted this week's tee on his travels in New York. As someone who spent a lot of time in high school listening to 80's punk and reading Mad Magazine, this mash up of Alfred E. Neuman's dopey grin and the Misfits iconic skull tickles me in a fairly inappropriate area.

According to the comments on the post about it on Boing Boing, this shirt came out circa 2006 from aNYthing and went out of print shortly thereafter. News of that didn't stop an enterprising seller on Etsy from reprinting them tho. And while I'd normally get all pissy about unauthorized reprints or knock-offs, the guy is selling them for next to nothing and I dig the design enough to really want one.

I'm pretty sure that means I'm going to some sort of special t-shirt pirate purgatory when I die, but whatever.

Oh shit.... If I were asked to chose between one of the three of these, I'd have a helluva time picking. With that being said, I'm pretty sure music would edge out Jaffa Cakes by a thin margin. After all, as wonderfully tasty as Jaffa Cakes can be, my need to rock out is often times far stronger.

Sorry about that, art. I know hearing that a snack food rates higher must sting. Honestly, it's nothing personal. Your contributions to society and culture are rad. And I seriously love the shit you've done with folks like Andy Warhol, Banksy, kozyndan, Shepard Fairey and whatnot.

When it comes down to it tho, I just really like Jaffa Cakes more. My waistline is proof positive of that. Hopefully you understand, art...

So I inadvertently ran into Cory at Seven Grand a couple weeks ago and he was rocking this extremely kickass tee from Secret Headquarters, one of the best comic shops in all of Los Angeles.

For those of you not hip to comic book nerddom, this is a mash up of the classic Sex Pistols' "God Save The Queen" single artwork — which has adorned countless t-shirts — and Stan Lee, a god amongst men. As far as I'm concerned, it's a pretty apt tribute to one of the people who helped shaped my adolescent years. Now mind you, I wasn't old enough to grow up during Stan's golden era — but I did read all of the Spider-Man and X-Men titles pretty religiously when I was in my early teens.

Right now it looks like the shirts are only available in their store, but hopefully they'll get them for sale online shortly. If they do, I'll be sure to link it up here if nothing else. Until then tho, you're going to have to make the trek to LA in order to score one. Sorry kids!

You know, I think that it's time for a brand new regular feature. Do any of you remember when I used to do those? You used to be able to depend on getting something other than t-shirt reviews from me at least one day out of the week. So in the interest of writing about something different for a change, I'm unveiling the optimistically named "Tee Of The Week". This is just a way to showcase either hand made, limited run or interesting t-shirt photos from Flickr once a week.

First on the docket is this Neighborhoodies produced tee by one Heather Powazek Champ, Community Manager for Flickr and all around awesome photographer. Inspired by Anil Dash's "User Generated Discontent" quip on Twitter, this shirt is perfectly nerdy and wonderful for somebody who keeps a patient eye on one of the largest community driven photo sites out there.

If you've got a candidate for Tee Of The Week, feel free to let us know about it. If we dig it too and end up running it, we'll be more than happy to give you full credit (see: link love) for pointing us at it.
