A lot of the designs at Stolen Shirts are a bit too over the top for my tastes. Maybe it’s just that I’m tired of the whole random paint splatter over a silhouette design trend. Look, once Comedy Central starts doing it, it quits becoming cool. Even if they are the network that brought the world South Park.

So maybe that’s why I like their Birdy design so much. It doesn’t try to be anything more than a pale blue bird on a brown t-shirt. It’s not superimposed over a 70’s clip art sunset, or in the middle of a whole bunch of clashing vector art. It just is.

Sorta zen, isn’t it?
