Preshrunk

One of my all time favorite movie series has to be Sam Rami's Evil Dead trilogy. While the first film was your standard horror film, the second and third movie added some Three Stooges style slapstick to the mix that made both films wonderful examples of how to turn a genre on it's ear.

If you've never any of these cult classics, do yourself a favor and try to pick them up over the long weekend. I know that Evil Dead can be a bit hard to find but I've seen Evil Dead 2 and Army Of Darkness in almost every Blockbuster I've ever been in. And they're really the hands down best ones in the series anyhow.

Anyhow, the folks at Fright Rags have done up this wonderful tee featuring Bruce Campbell as a very angry, blood splattered Ash. What's more, it's available in up to 3XL. So all you big fellas who don't think I give you enough love, here you go... Hope y'all like it.

Call me a sadist if you must, but there's something about a tee featuring a rabbit with a bloody stump where his foot should be and the word "unlucky" floating over him that I find gruesomely adoreable. Mind you, I laughed my ass off when Mr. Blonde cut off that cop's ear in Reservoir Dogs... So it's probably safe to say that I'm not dealing with a full deck.

But the fact that I'm not quite right in the head still doesn't make this lovely shirt from No Star Clothing not funny. In fact, I'm sure it'd garner chuckles out of perfectly sane people. So, uhm, it's got that going for it, I think.

No matter how much you loved "Napoleon Dynamite", Vote For Pedro shirts aren't cool anymore. Seriously, cut it out. You don't look cool, clever or irreverent. You look like a bandwagon hopping douche bag. Once there's a ready supply of any shirt design at Hot Topic, it's too late... Vote For Pedro tees have been on sale there for at least the last year. So give up already.

Do yourself a favor. Stash that fucker at the bottom of your drawer and forget about it for five to ten years. By then, the shirt has either become vintage [and cool again] or moth food. The objective here is to take as many of them out of circulation as possible.

Think about it, we'd both win here. You'll get a vintage shirt [well, eventally] and I wouldn't have to put up with seeing them. *shrug* Just an idea...

I know I'm going to come off like one of the biggest wiggers in the world, but I really do love me some hip hop. I don't listen to it all the time, but I can definitely appreciate it. Hell, I'm bumping some ODB as I type this up. I didn't plan it that way, honest... iTunes was on shuffle.

So it should go without saying that I love this Wu Tang insipired tee from Manifest. Actually, all their shit is pretty good. Still, I had to pick a favorite. So you're looking at it. And here I am encouraging you to go get it and make Derek from Manifest rich. He deserves it just as much as anyone else does.

I think I just fell in love with White Frog's robotic riff on Da Vinci's classic anatomy drawing. It's everything I like in a design - a new take on a classic idea that's nicely implemented and affordably priced.

It's a pity I can't fit my XXL frame into one seeing as how their largest size is an XL. *shrug* You can't win them all, I guess.

While I normally try to keep my lefty, pinko politics off of this site, I'm willing to wear them on my sleeve for this smashing tee from Fat American. Sure, the anti-war beach style tees have been done by at least half a dozen other t-shirt companies - but the execution on this design is pitch perfect. From the color choices to the design, it's a cheeky modern take on retro that's been done just right.

• Brian Wood from Northern Boy just informed us that they're having an extra huge moving sale. Every t-shirt in his store is going for the ridiculously low price of ten dollars and he thought you all would like to know. How very nice of him.

You're not going to like hearing this, but TV most definitely doesn't love you.

If it did Fox News would be off the air. MTV would actually play music videos. Reality show actors would disappear after the season of whatever abysmal show they're on is over. Sitcoms would gracefully slink away when they stop being funny. The evening news would actually report stories instead of sensationalizing them.

But none of that will ever happen, because TV doesn't give a rat's ass about you. It'd much rather shill cola, beer, boner pills and feminine hygiene products while shoveling recycled pop culture down your throat. Advertising is where the money is. T'hell with people.

Okay, enough of me on my soapbox... I've got a rerun of Seinfeld to catch anyhow.
