There are two things I’ve always wanted to know about the Star Wars universe. 1) What’s the name of the galaxy? 2) Exactly how long ago? Well, if this ancient Aztec art is any indication, then we could have at least one of these answers. Darth Vader was around at about the same time as the Aztec empire. Yes, this is totally legit. There were definitely carvings of the Star Wars characters in Aztec ruins. Yeah. Just like C-3P0 and R2-D2 were found carved into a snake pit in Egypt, according to Indiana Jones.
