Too many artists nowadays rely on computers instead of hand drawing. Because of that, a great deal of modern designs end up feeling stiff and soulless. But the art on these vintage drag racing reproductions from Nitroactive are overflowing with heart and soul. It’s the little imperfections in the drawings that make these tees so wonderful.
You really don’t see designs like these anymore, which is probably why I’m fawning all over them. *shrug*
As much as I dig their shirts, I’ve gotta say that the Googie Architecture on their Wich Stand tee tugs at my heartstrings. The beauty of the Armet + Davis structure makes the fact that the shirt only comes in white easy to overlook.
