Growing up, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” was one of my all time favorite movies. As a matter of fact, there was one summer in particular where I remember watching it twice a day, every day on HBO1. That might have been a bit excessive, but I’m pretty sure that I was 10 or 11 years old at the time. If I would have thought ahead, I would have recorded it sometime during the first week that it aired and played the tape until it wore out. But you know what they say about hindsight, don’t you?
Still, Ferris Bueller was my hero that summer. And if you were a child of the 80’s too, you probably understand why. I mean, the dude was the one of the greatest social engineers of all time. He might have been a fictional character, but as far as I was concerned, Ferris was the fucking man.
So when I saw this loving recreation of Cameron’s Caduceus tee over at Found Item Clothing, I sort of lost my shit. Okay, I didn’t really lose my shit — in fact, I’ve kind of known about this shirt for a while now. That’s the great thing about being bored and cleaning up your bookmarks, I guess… *shrug* At least I posted it, right?
- Okay, I might have stopped long enough to watch the 4th of July “Twilight Zone” Marathon on KTLA — but that was a straight up tradition at my house.

There’s always the classic “Save Ferris” from spunky…an oldie but a goldie
That’s funny because I bought this shirt a while back when you recommended the Japanese baseball player shirt from The Big Lebowski, and now it’s come full circle. :)
