Preshrunk

Well, if somebody isn’t going to post anything, I guess I will. That’s right, I’ve come along to clear out the cobwebs.

Jason actually asked me to write something about 2 months ago, but I’ve had wicked bad writer’s block on that shirt. Seriously, one false start after another. What’s brought me out of my slump, you ask? What shirt tore down the Great Wall of China sized block that I had?

Loch Ness Imposter, of course.

This is actually an old shirt from Threadless that I’ve been pining over for months. It just got reprinted and I was able to buy it, so it’s new to me! This shirt inspires mixed emotions for me. On one hand, it combines two things that I love: Nessie and giant cephalapods. On the other hand, I’d be really upset if I thought I saw a Nessie and it turned out to be some imposter! I mean, it’d be exciting to find a giant squid in the Loch Ness and all, especially since that would be really out of place. I mean, we all know the Nessie lives in the Loch, so to find a giant squid with a fake Nessie head! That would be really exciting…but still. I see real pictures of giant squids all the time…never a real, live Nessie.

So, as you can see, I would be torn. Who do I love more? Nessie or giant squids? I don’t think I can decide. Everybody has their good points. Nessie is really cool and mysterious, probably prehistoric. Giant squids eat sea captains, crush boats and fight whales. Plus, I have a cephalapod for a child. I can’t decide. It makes me want to explode. Like my “Who do I find sexier, Beyonce or Shakira?” dilemma.
