I was meaning to run this tee from new kids on the block Ten Bills while I was longing to get off work this last Friday. I was all ready with a bunch of half-assed, yet puckishly cute jokes about “flying the coop” and some such. Trust me, it was chock full of that brand of clever that I just know you’ve all come to adore.
Then I went to lunch and I totally lost all interest in doing the post. There’s something about a three beer lunch with coworkers that’ll do that to you. *shrug*
So while Friday may be at the other end of the week, I figure that this shirt is just as topical today. Hell, it might even be more poignant than it would have been when I wanted to post it. I mean, I don’t know about you lot but I’m already longing for the weekend.
