Psychedelic Ambush

While I’m still not quite sure if I’m into Apes + Androids music just yet, I’m fairly certain that I’m into their Simon Noynay designed tee, Psychedelic Ambush.
Simon’s the chap behind my most favorite Threadless tee ever — which has long since been out of print — as well as a bunch of other great shirts that most of you have probably seen around a lot of the usual online shops.
Anyhow, the band is worth a listen [Warning: MySpace] if you’re into post-DFA new wavey electro punk. I probably did them a bit of a disservice with that description — but I really don’t know of any other way to describe their sound. Any Pitchfork wannabes care to call it for me?

freaky. i came to preshrunk specifically to tell you about another simon noynay design - the “rewind” limited edition shirt he has on his site now is choice…
anyway, weird that the most recent entry is for another one of his shirts, but not entirely surprising. good call.
