I don’t know how many episodes of Batman I watched when I was a kid, but I do know that I loved the hell out of those campy 60′s reruns. I’m pretty sure that the crazy ass camera angles, wildly contrasting colors, brightly flashing onomatopoeia and constant glimpses at pop culture thru a fun house mirror fucked me up a little bit — but I’m okay with that.
Nerdy Shirts has done a great job reworking a slice of modern slang into some vintage Batman art with their Pwn’d shirt. It’s versatile enough to work at both a LAN party and ComicCon — and that (along with my aforementioned bit of nostalgia) make this shirt pretty fucking sweet.
P.S. I don’t think people who would attend either of those events really put a lot of forethought into what they’re going to wear — judging from all the cosplay and bloated bellies hanging over sweat pants — but I’ll try to give y’all the benefit of the doubt for a change.
P.P.S. Don’t take offense to that “chubby, sweat pants wearing” stereotype, nerds. I didn’t mean anything by it. Hell, I used to be one of you in high school. Trust me, there is a way out. It’s called getting laid.
