Enjoy Carne Asada? I sure as hell do! Then again, I’ve grown up eating at assorted taquerias around the Greater (and Lesser) Los Angeles area so I guess you could say it’s sort of ingrained in my cultural DNA via osmosis.

Mmmm… What I wouldn’t do for a proper Asada burrito and a Mexican Coke right about now. It’s one of the only things that keep me from going completely vegetarian or at the very least cutting red meat out of my diet completely. Well, at least until they perfect a seitan or soy based version that tastes exactly like the real thing. And even when that day comes, I’m pretty sure I’ll have a hard time ditching it altogether. The draw is just that strong, I guess.
