Enjoy Carne Asada? I sure as hell do! Then again, I’ve grown up eating at assorted taquerias around the Greater (and Lesser) Los Angeles area — so I guess you could say it’s sort of ingrained in my cultural DNA via osmosis.
Mmmm… What I wouldn’t do for a proper Asada burrito and a Mexican Coke right about now. It’s one of the only things that keep me from going completely vegetarian — or at the very least cutting red meat out of my diet completely. Well, at least until they perfect a seitan or soy based version that tastes exactly like the real thing. And even when that day comes, I’m pretty sure I’ll have a hard time ditching it altogether. The draw is just that strong, I guess.
