With Flying Colors

September 3rd, 2008  |  Published in T-Shirts

You know, I really appreciate t-shirts that break away from the whole time honored “chest centered design” tradition. It makes things a bit more interesting.

Take this one from Turn Nocturnal for example. The design itself is a pretty simple one. The thing that makes it interesting tho is that it’s executed in such a way that elevates the impact of the shirt as a whole.

Sure, the designer could have chose to make the plane come up from the bottom of the tee. But seriously, how many times has that been done? Enough to be pretty fucking tired to the likes of me, that’s for damn sure.

Honestly, I’m glad there are people out there trying something a bit different. And as long as they keep doing that, I’ll keep blogging their shit.
