Actually, I’m not quite sure if I feel compelled to run something from PowerUp Tees because I think the design is a clever twist on a slightly overplayed classic — or if I’m doing it just because have a tiny crush on the redheaded model from their site. *shrug* It doesn’t matter, does it?

Lecherously drooling at cute redheads aside, the shirt itself is pretty sweet. Despite the fact that it makes Mario look like a bit of a perv, it’s gotten a nice chuckle out of everyone I’ve shown it to so far. Maybe that’s because it deftly comines a little bit of nostalgia with a smidge of wry humor. Well, at least that’s what I’d like to think it is…
