So, it would seem that I’ve sort of been on a tangent where I’ve been subconsciously revisiting some of my favorite t-shirt designers to see what they’ve been up to… In the past week we’ve run shirts from Diesel Sweeties, Enclothe and Red Labor — and now we’re raiding the vaults over at Crowded Teeth.
But unlike the other shirts we’ve been running since my recent resurfacing, I decided to go with something a little more lighthearted for this post. And what’s more lighthearted than two well drawn, adorable birds? Absolutley nothing, chief.
Honestly, it doesn’t matter if you’re a dude or a chick… I guarantee that members of the opposite sex will find you aesthetically pleasing while you are rocking this shirt. It’s just that good, yo.
Update: Seems like we ran this one a little prematurely. Apparently, Michelle sent all of her stock off to get retagged and any orders that happen between now and April 1st won’t actually be shipped out until April 3rd. As far as we’re concerned, they’re worth the wait. Hopefully you feel the same way…

A thought, while the site says that the shirts are AA in the FAQ, I wish that these sites would put that info somewhere more prominent so I don’t have to dig around. Frankly, seeing that they are AA shirts rules them out for me immediately and I’d like to know so that I don’t waste my time.
I feel what you’re saying, Cameron. In fact, I’ve considered running shirt make info in the post’s footer after the sizing information — but I’m worried that might be overkill.
What’s your beef with AA BTW? Are you taking a personal stand against them because of their progressive doublespeak or do you just not like the cut of their shirts?
As a bigger guy, I sport a 2XL in most cases. In AA’s “fitted” sizing chart however, I need a 3XL. And with the exception of a handful of shops, nobody really offers that. To be honest, yeah, it’s sort of aggravating.
Well, I’m sorry if you feel like you wasted your time. Thanks for reading tho. Cheers!
Jason, I’ve been reading your blog for a long time now, and I’m glad to see you brought it back from the dead… or near death that I feared had come.
But what’s with the string of shirts that max out at XL, did you go on the Subway diet, or do you like the shirts snug these days.
Oh, and with the ressurection of Preshrunk, I was really hoping to see a new design with a cephalopod on it, what gives?
Less cute birds (I actually like this design, wouldn’t wear it, but it’s charming.) and more octopus and squid.
There’s really no reason why I’ve been running a lot of shirts that top out at XL, Dave.
To be honest, I’m not all that happy with the fact that the majority shirts I’ve liked aren’t that chubby friendly either — but it’s either these or no updates.
I think I’m making the right choice, don’t you?
Hell yes. You’re one of the most sardonic individuals on the planet. Keep the blog alive, you make the internet much more entertaining.
Besides I’m sure those in the world who don’t don the double X still love to buy the shirts you recommend.
I’ll keep coming back simply for the humor.
And an occasional fatty-sized tee.
I think you meant “aesthetically pleasing”. “ascetically pleasing” would be like if they thought you were hot because you just fasted for 2 months.
*grumble* I’ve already done the aesthetically/ascetically mix up once this week.
That cuts it… I’m going to quit using that word until I can spell it right.
Shirt brand in the footer would be cool since AA for example tends to generate extreme positive and negative responses from people (personally I won’t buy AA either – a combination of not liking their CEO and not liking their clothes). While I think some people would find it useful, it could be a lot of extra effort for you though.
While I don’t think you need to post measurements (manufacturers should be doing this), you might include general descriptive tags (such as: fitted, regular, loose cut). Also in your size listing, “W” would make more sense than “F” for girly wear. Most ladies clothing is sold as “Womens”.
Oh.. and please, please put the shirt brand in the post! Not only for people who don’t like certain brands/fits, but for people who are looking for eco-friendly or ethically sourced t-shirts as well.. It would save me from wading through many a flash-mangled site.
Anyway.. there’s my 2 cents. Do what you will!
Thanks for the sweet props :)
